St. Joseph’s Convent School, Mandya is one of the branches of the Institute of Carmelite Sisters of St. Teresa [CSST] which was established in the year 1944 to facilitate girls education in Mandya District. The main aim of our Institution is to educate girl child specially who is economically poor and downtrodden of the locality. Our aim is to give value based education; where quality is maintained and the hidden talents of the students are unfolded by identifying their inner strengths through different skills.
Like its patron saint. Saint Joseph who is known for his modesty, gentleness and silent nature the Institution has spoken for its charitable works through the Ministry of education. It is a matter of pride that it is a Preferred school for girls in Mandya city. Education is not an mere transmission of knowledge but forming and transforming of young minds for an ethically sound society.
Students passing out of our portals have distinguished themselves as entrepreneurs education, sports persons, scientific thinkers, cinematic artists, social reformers, above all loving and responsible mothers who are building healthy families.
I sincerely thank God for his Providential care who has guided us accompanied us and sustained us on our 74 years of journey through many people who have sincerely toiled without expecting any reward to keep the fire of service burning through their dedicated work.
It is a ‘Linking Moments’ to every Alumni of our school. We wish to reach out and to connect each of you to become part of this Institution.
